اللاجئون السوريون: خلفية إعداد نغم بورسلي وسعد جاسر وصف القضية: قانون اللاجئين هو فرع من القانون الدولي يعنى بحماية حقوق اللاجئين، وهو يتعلَّق بالقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الدولي الإنساني، رغم اختلافه عنهما، حيث يتناولان على التوالي حقوق الإنسان بشكل عام وإدارة الحرب بشكل خاص. تعرف اتفاقية جنيف الخاصة بوضع اللاجئين لعام 1951 اللاجئ بأنه : "الشخص الواجد خارج بلد جنسيته أو بلد إقامته المعتاد بسبب خوف له ما يبرره من التعرض للاضطهاد بسبب العنصر، أو الدين أو القومية أو الانتماء إلى طائفة اجتماعية معينة، أو إلى رأي سياسي، ولا يستطيع بسبب ذلك الخوف أو لا يريد ان يستظل/تستظل بحماية ذلك البلد او العودة إليه خشية التعرض للاضطهاد." توجد 4 أنواع للجوء: اللجوء السياسي وهو الذي يتم منحه للشخصيات المشهورة، والقادة المنشقين عن جيوشهم أو حكوماتهم، وللناشطين السياسيين. اللجوء الديني وهو أن يقوم الشخص باللجوء إلى دولة أخرى بسبب تعرضه للاضطهاد بسبب الدين أو المعتقدات اللادينية. اللجوء الإنساني وهو اللجوء إلى دولة أخرى داخل أو خارج الوطن بسبب...

A miniature version of the United Nations conference and its different committees, the conference raises a lot of different cases that face the international community and it is the duty of the participants to find solutions to these cases. It is the goal of the conference to attract students from Kuwait and other countries around the world. The conference develops a variety of skills like the art of speech, negotiations, and the skill of convincement. Students obtain these various skills from discussions and debates that are carried out between them in their respective committees in order to arrive at solutions to the suggested issues. The International Trade and Investment Law Conference (ITILC) First time in Kuwait, a group of Law students are hosting a conference that will focus mainly on International Trade and Investment Law. Inviting prestigious and well-respected professionals to speak and deliver knowledge, experience, and wisdom about their respected fields and work experience.
