A miniature version of the United Nations conference and its different committees, the conference raises a lot of different cases that face the international community and it is the duty of the participants to find solutions to these cases.
It is the goal of the conference to attract students from Kuwait and other countries around the world. The conference develops a variety of skills like the art of speech, negotiations, and the skill of convincement. Students obtain these various skills from discussions and debates that are carried out between them in their respective committees in order to arrive at solutions to the suggested issues.
The following topics will be outlined in both English and Arabic within the committees of the conference:
Security Council:
The definition of a terrorist and underlining his rights
General Assembly (GA1):
Syrian refugee crisis
General Assembly (GA2)
Ensuring universal access to water
General Assembly (GA3)
Private military companies and there impact on national security
The conference will be held at the Gulf University for Science and Technology between the 3rd and 5th of March. The conference will be concluded at the UN house in Kuwait, where a dinner ceremony will be held for all the participants.
